§ 13.04.220. Testing meters

The water superintendent is directed and authorized to have all water meters carefully tested before being installed. After their installation they shall be tested as frequently as circumstances warrant, in the discretion of the city. The city reserves the right to remove and test any meter at any time and if such meter is found to be inaccurate, to substitute another meter of the same size in its place and charge the consumer according to Section 13.04.190.
