§ 2.20.010. Duties

  • The city clerk shall by virtue of his or her office be the collector of all moneys and accounts due the city by reason of any ordinance requiring the payment of license fees or taxes, permits and other charges for the sale of electric power, water or other services offered by the city. He or she shall keep the accounts of the water and electric department and other service departments rendering bills therefor and shall collect and account for all moneys received by his or her office from all such sources. The same shall be paid over to the city treasurer daily.
