§ 15.36.030. Lands to which this chapter applies

Latest version.

This chapter shall apply to all lands within the city identified on the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) as within the one hundred (100) year floodplain and within the zoning districts floodway (FW) and floodway fringe (FF) established in this chapter. In all areas covered by this chapter no development shall be permitted except upon a permit to develop granted by the zoning administrator under such safeguards and restrictions as the zoning administrator may reasonably impose for the promotion and maintenance of the general welfare and health of the inhabitants of the city.
