§ 15.24.030. Place of beginning

On all streets running north and south, the place of beginning shall be at First Street and shall begin with the number 100 north and 100 south of First Street; and on all streets running east and west the place of beginning to number shall be Main Street and shall begin with number 100 east and 100 west of Main Street, and there shall be a number allotted to every twenty-five (25) feet consecutively facing the street and not more than one hundred (100) numbers to a block, the number changing to the next hundred when it crosses the street. It shall be the duty of the city clerk on application to furnish to each person information as to the correct number on his or her house or building.
