§ 15.16.090. Issuance of certificate of qualification or registration

The board of plumbing examiners shall issue certificates of qualification or registration pursuant to the following provisions:

A master plumber, journeyman plumber and water conditioning contractor certificate of qualification or registration shall be issued to every person who makes an application for such certificate, pays the required fee and successfully passes the examination conducted by the plumbing examining board; provided, that no master plumber, journeyman plumber and water conditioning contractor shall be required to apply for and pass the examination provided by this section if such person has obtained a certificate of competency from the state of Kansas as provided for in KSA 12-1509.
