§ 15.08.090. Inspection of electrical wiring devices and material

The city manager shall appoint an electrical inspector who shall be responsible for the enforcement of all the provisions of this chapter. The city electrical inspector shall have the right and duty, during all reasonable hours, to enter any building or structure in the city for the purpose of making any inspection or test of any electrical wiring, devices or material contained therein and shall have the authority to direct and cause the discontinuance of electrical service to the premises upon his or her finding that any such electrical wiring, devices or materials are dangerous or hazardous to life or property or may interfere with the servicing of fires by the fire department of the city.
