§ 12.04.030. Establishing alignment

Before any sidewalk, crosswalk, or curb shall be laid or constructed, the city manager or other duly authorized official shall ascertain and indicate the property line according to the recorded plat thereof. He or she shall establish and stake out the alignment and grade of such sidewalk and it shall be built and constructed in conformity therewith.
