§ 13.16.220. Septic tank truck operators—License requirements

  • A. It is unlawful for any septic tank truck operator to dump sewage into the sewage system if the sewage dumped violates the provisions of this chapter.

    B. The fee for each load of waste dumped by a septic tank truck operator shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per one thousand (1,000) gallons or fraction thereof. The superintendent or his or her authorized representative shall maintain a record of date and name of each licensed operator dumping wastes and the amount of wastes dumped on an appropriate form, which shall be transmitted to the city clerk. The city clerk shall bill the operator, which billing shall be due and payable upon receipt. Any such billing not paid within thirty (30) days shall become delinquent. When delinquent, a five percent penalty shall be charged and the city clerk shall notify the superintendent to refuse all further dumping by the operator.

    C. It is unlawful for a septic tank truck operator to dump waste at a place or in an area other than the designated place established by the superintendent. It is unlawful for a septic tank truck operator to dump any waste into the sewage system of the Pratt municipal airport.
