§ 13.12.030. Responsibility for cross connection program

The city building inspector shall be responsible for effectively conducting the cross connection control program of the city public potable water supply. If in the judgment of said city building inspector an approved backflow prevention device is required the city building inspector or his or her agent will give notice in writing to the customer to install the proper device. The customer shall immediately install the proper device at the customer's expense. Failure to comply shall be grounds for discontinuing water service to said customer until the device is properly installed.
